Macromedia Flash is the previous name for the application today known as Adobe Flash Player. It is a high-performance, lightweight, highly expressive plug-in that delivers powerful and consistent user experiences across major operating systems, browsers, mobile phones, and devices. The program allows you to view all kinds of interactive content on the web like YouTube, games, business presentations, entertainment and advertisements. With all the multimedia, interactive content that the Internet abounds with these days, there is really a big need to have a good player for it.
